LAHORE: The Qul prayers for Muhammad Abbas Sharif, younger brother of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif who breathed his last on Friday due to cardiac arrest and was laid to rest the same day, will be held tomorrow (Sunday) at 1 p.m. at Jati Umra, Raiwind.
According to a press release, Mian Nawaz Sharif and Mian Shahbaz Sharif are meeting those coming for condolences on Saturday from 2 to 4 p.m. at Jati Umra Raiwind.
Earlier, the funeral prayer for the late was offered at Jati Umra, Raiwind, on Friday and he was buried beside his father late Mian Muhammad Sharif. Provincial ministers, members national and provincial assemblies, retired judges, intellectuals, religious and spiritual figures, journalists, columnists, prominent political and social personalities and a large number of people belonging to different walks of life attended the funeral.
Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) President Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain, Deputy Prime Minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi, Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs Mian Manzoor Ahmad Wattoo, Pakistan People’s Party General Secretary Jehangir Badr as well as leaders and workers of the PML-N offered their condolences with Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and Shahbaz Sharif over the death of their brother at Raiwind and prayed for the departed soul.
