46% of Pakistanis say they serve processed juice to guests in summers

serving_guests_surveyISLAMABAD: Nearly half (46 percent) of Pakistanis say that they serve juice (processed) to guests in summers, a survey has found.

In the survey, a nationally representative sample of men and women from across the four provinces was asked: “Which drink do you mostly serve to guests in summers?”

Responding to this question, 46 percent of the respondents answered juice (processed), 33 percent said soft drink, nine percent said ‘lassi’, 11 percent said tea and one percent identified some other type of drink.

The study released by Gilani Foundation was carried out by Gallup Pakistan, the Pakistani affiliate of Gallup International, among a sample of 2,632 men and women in rural and urban areas of all four provinces of the country between June 03 and 10, 2013.

Error margin is estimated to be approximately ±2-3 percent at 95 percent confidence level.
