Farhan Zaman wins CAS International Squash Championship

ISLAMABAD: Farhan Zaman on Saturday won the Chief of Air Staff (CAS) International Squash Championship 2013 played at Hashim Khan Squash Complex in Peshawar.


According to a press release issued here, Farhan Zaman won the championship by defeating Danish Atlas Khan with a game score of 10-12, 11-4, 11-6 and 11-8.


Vice Chief of the Air Staff of the Pakistan Air Force Air Marshal Syed Athar Hussain Bukhari was the chief guest on the occasion and awarded trophies to the players. A large number of squash lovers from all walks of life witnessed the match.

Earlier, Danish Atlas Khan and Farhan Zaman on Friday qualified for the final. Farhan Zaman beat Nasir Iqbal (11-05, 10-12, 11-05, 07-11, 11-6 or 3-2) and Danish Atlas Khan beat Amir Atlas (11-1, 7-11, 11-8, 11-9 or 3-1).
